Mission & Vision

“Our intention is to present the world as a beautiful & wonder-filled place where anything is possible...”

-Liv Helmericks (Mountain Sage community School, Colorado)

The Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools (TRCCS) wishes to develop the whole child through nature, art, language and music in an innovative, collaborative, and supportive educational environment guided by the Core Principles of Public Waldorf education, Environmental Education and other proven pedagogy.

Our Mission

Our Vision

The vision of the Charter School is expressed perfectly by Liv Helmericks of Mountain Sage Community School, a charter school in Colorado inspired by Waldorf pedagogy. “Our intention is to present the world as a beautiful and wonder-filled place where anything is possible. Math IS music, science IS art, and the totality of the way the world works IS poetry. This powerful method provides all children, despite their differences, the opportunity to completely participate in their own education, cultivating compassion and respect for self, others and the natural world.”

Diversity statement

The Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools (TRCCS) are committed to respecting and welcoming all people. We most emphatically reject discrimination and actively work towards mutual understanding and positive engagement; embracing the principles of common humanity expressed by the Core Principles of Public Waldorf Education. TRCCS works to promote inclusivity and understanding, and our schools actively and critically examine our practices as a reflection of our changing world.
